The organisers behind TRNSMT and Summer Sessions have announced the return of the Connect music festival next year.
DF Concerts said a rebooted version of the event, which was previously staged in 2007 and 2008 in the grounds of Inveraray Castle, will take place between August 26 and 28 2022.
It has been billed as an “entirely new festival experience, but retains many of the qualities of its namesake”.
The announcement added: “Connect will feature the best in leftfield talent from grassroots through to the biggest names in the world.
“In addition to amazing music there will be a wealth of unique, remarkable, alternative and truly entertaining experiences to immerse yourself in.
“There will be a plethora of bands, DJs, artists, performers, comedians, jesters, visual arts and installations that will be keeping you amused throughout the weekend as well as culinary delights and crafted drinks from local artisans.”
The location and line-up for the new version of the festival has yet to be announced.
The headliners for the inaugural event in 2007 were Beastie Boys, Primal Scream and Bjork.
Artists performing at the 2008 event included Manic Street Preachers, Bloc Party, Paolo Nutini, Kasabian and Franz Ferdinand.

The announcement follows yesterday’s news that Dundee would be hosting a Summer Sessions event next year.
Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds will play the city’s Slessor Gardens on Saturday June 11.
The line-up for Edinburgh was also announced, with Lionel Richie, Michael Kiwanuka, Simply Red, Tom Jones, Simple Minds and Travis playing dates in August 2022.
