Construction giants Bilfinger has extended two service agreements with Statoil and Marathon worth more than £110million.
The Mannheim-based firm, which has a UK branch in Aberdeen, has extended comprehensive framework agreements to provide oil and gas production maintenance over the next three years.
The deal will see Bilfinger continue to provide maintenance services for insulation, scaffolding and corrosion protection at Statoil’s gas liquefaction plant on Melköya, near Hammerfest.
Bilfinger has also extended its collaboration with Marathon to maintain the North Sea platforms Brae Alpha, Brae Bravo and East Brae, providing maintenance and electrical engineering on the platforms.
The deals come just weeks after Bilfinger received a £50million order from Chevron for maintenance at a number of its offshore installations.
